    • The range of surface functionalities possible with Starbon® materials gives superior physisorption and chemisorption of gases such as CO2, NH3, H2S, SO2, H2, as well as volatile organics.
    • Whilst mesoporous materials have traditionally been thought of as being less important in gas capture, our novel Starbon® technology is extremely effective in this application. Read more about how Starbon® materials outperform powdered Norit activated carbon (AC) here.
    • Starbon® technology allows the selective formation of micropores which are formed in the pre-existing, larger mesopores. This connected network of pores results in a “funnelling” effect which helps gases to reach the active surface more easily.
